The data processed by TVETMIS is used for various purposes, including monitoring pass rates and providing insights for managerial decision-making and strategic planning. This information helps identify areas needing intervention to improve student outcomes.

Student Support Services

Student Support Services (SSS) is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to students. This includes career guidance, bursary application assistance, and academic support programs like peer tutoring. SSS also supports students with disabilities and encourages participation in extracurricular activities such as sports, debates, and arts. Additionally, SSS ensures effective communication with students through activities like student induction, governance, elections, and the College Student Representative Council (SRC). A partnership with Higher Health offers students access to on-campus counselling and health-related support, preparing them for their transition into the workforce.

Partnerships and Linkages

The Partnerships and Linkages unit actively engages with stakeholders to form mutually beneficial agreements through Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). This includes sourcing external stakeholders for staff, collaborating with universities, and ensuring the curriculum remains relevant. The unit prioritises stakeholder sustainability by hosting events, maintaining regular interactions, and sharing marketing materials to create solid relationships with industry.
