Holistic Support for Every ETVET Student
The purpose of the SSS is to systematically plan and deliver Student Support Services by ensuring that all areas in a student’s life in a TVET College, receive equal attention at pre-entry, on-course and exit support levels. In addition, the SSS will assist in analyzing student needs, review existing practices, identify key performance measures and establish minimum levels of provision. Furthermore, the SSS encourages the Colleges to develop student-centred approaches that would afford students a greater chance of improving their academic performance and succeeding in TVET Colleges.
Students with Disabilities (SwDs) are adequately accommodated and supported in our College that have the necessary infrastructure. This is done both in terms of infrastructure and special devices that would assist students with their special needs.
Elangeni TVET College, in collaboration with Higher Health, is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Melusi Buthelezi as the new Campus Care Coordinator. Mr. Buthelezi will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of health and wellness throughout the College. His responsibilities include not only the promotion of physical and mental well-being but also the integration of civic education and soft skills into the student experience. Although he will be primarily based at the Pinetown Campus, Mr. Buthelezi will extend his services to other campuses, ensuring that all students benefit from his expertise and dedication to their overall development.
At Elangeni TVET College, we are proud to be part of a vibrant and diverse community of students, staff, alumni, and partners. We actively engage with our stakeholders to build meaningful relationships and create opportunities for collaboration and growth.
